Areas of Expertise

Irrigation & Sprinkler Repair

Improperly designed, and malfunctioning irrigation systems can damage landscape, waste water and ultimately cost you money. Valves and wiring can be a headache to fix when not working properly. A sprinkler valve won’t come on, or won’t turn off, potentially causing damage to property. Morrow Landscaping & Irrigation can diagnose and repair Irrigation systems of all kinds. High water pressure can damage valves and break pipes causing costly damage and repairs. Old gate valves can break when trying to shut water off. Changing to a ball valve with handle will allow you to shut the water off immediately if there is a broken main water line.

Drip Systems

By directing water to soak into the soil and get to the roots of the plants, drip systems can use 30% to 50% less water than conventional watering methods such as over head sprinklers. This efficient use of water can lead to improved plant growth, discourage weeds, control fungal diseases, prevent overwatering and save money. With the cost of water in San Diego increasing regularly, a drip system conversion is the smart choice.

Outdoor Lighting

Outdoor lighting can add a beautiful, elegant ambiance to your property. Properly installed lighting also provides increased security, visibility and safe passage on walkways. With many styles and colors to choose from, it can make your landscape come to life.

Irrigation Check up

Why a Irrigation check:

After a whole winter of sprinkler pipes not being used, they can become brittle and may crack when turned on the first time in spring. A sprinkler valve, or irrigation station can stay on and not turn off. A sprinkler head can get run over with a car or lawnmower. A misaligned sprinkler sprays more sidewalk then lawn. Water running down the street is money going down the drain.

We can prevent water waste with minor adjustments. Irrigation controllers sometimes lose power and default to a program that will water every day and waste water. A regular check on sprinkler timers and valves can help prevent problems. Our techs can check any system, Rain Bird, Hunter, Irritrol, Netafim, Toro, Orbit, Lawn Genie, Rain Jet, Hardie, DIG, Rachio, and more!

The severity of the current drought makes it important for everyone in San Diego County to take more water-saving actions.
